As a student of leadership, Ricardo Deveaux followed Dr. Myles Munroe's teaching, read his books, watched his programs and on a few occasions, had an opportunity to personally talk with him, especially about his leadership passion. Ricardo noted that he was always inspired by his life and his ability to inspire individuals to work towards their passion, purpose and pursuits.
It was amazing that on Sunday, June 4, 2006, Ricardo P. Deveaux was honoured by Dr. Myles Munroe at Bahamas Faith Ministries.
He was selected by the Real Men's Ministry at Bahamas Faith Ministries International as the recipient of the 2006 Distinguished Youth Leader Award for his work with the Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Awards Program. Ricardo further noted that one of the greatest honour was to have the award presented by the Late Dr. Myles Munroe and Dr. Richard Pinder and then congratulated by the Right Honourable Perry G. Christie - Prime Minister of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
Ricardo said that he will always remember Dr. Myles Munroe words of wisdom...... "The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without a purpose".
